Some people just see things differently.

When our CEO, Patrick Shaw, looked at how digital marketing tools were complicating the network marketing industry, and confusing his team, he saw a better, simpler way to use technology, that would help everyone win.

BUILDING A NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS

Building A Network Marketing Business

Let me share a story with you...

In 1997, I was a 28-year-old, with lots of hair and lots of ambition, who decided to put all of his eggs into the network marketing basket.

The first few years were a struggle as I was learning the fundamentals of becoming a professional networker.

In time, I figured it out.

For almost a decade I saw incredible momentum, which led to what most people, including me, would deem a successful career in the industry: money, trips, time freedom, the works.

Around the Fall of 2012, I started to see an interesting shift. It likely began earlier, but that’s when it hit me like a ton of bricks. Sometimes, it takes a ton of bricks for me to really notice something.

I noticed leaders in my business using leads, email lists, and autoresponders to grow their business. These were tools traditionally used for digital marketing. I was puzzled.

Over the last decade, I’ve witnessed digital marketers becoming self-proclaimed MLM experts, shilling the idea that anyone could build a networking business WITHOUT EVER TALKING TO ANYONE.

What?

If you don’t want to talk to people, you don’t belong in network marketing.

When I started my career the business was simple; there were only a few components. A VHS tape, a phone, a fax, and a meeting to attend. When the business was this simple, it was easy to teach.

But the changing environment brought great complexity. The digital world showed some promise for our industry, but it also came with great peril, if not used correctly.

Trying to fit traditional digital marketing tools and techniques into the networking world was a classic square-peg, round-hole scenario.

But… I knew the digital world was not going away and there had to be a solution that could bridge the gap.

I did a deep dive into digital marketing–the good, the bad and the ugly–to identify what elements might work for MLM. And, how we could enhance and supercharge the techniques to make them appropriate and effective for our business.

Like most problems, it’s easy to see in hindsight that it was simple. Digital marketing worked for the one-to-many marketing approach; which is not, nor should it ever be, the world of network marketing.

What made matters even more complicated was that sometimes these tools would work for those individuals on my team that had the money and the moxie to give them a go.

I repeatedly saw top recruiters in the organization using different digital marketing tools to personally recruit, or sell in large numbers. They would buy or build a large email list, write a campaign to market, build out surveys to generate leads by posting them on social media, and even develop brilliant capture pages to convert and close business.

But there is a saying in the industry…

What works does not necessarily duplicate.

These methods worked for some but they weren’t simple, affordable, or duplicable. It was destroying the organization’s ability to create momentum. We were struggling to help the new recruit succeed because there was no longer a simple system to teach.

The power of network marketing was being lost and we saw it happening in other companies as well. The whole industry was struggling.

Some companies tried to embrace digital and overwhelmed the entire field. Some leaders wisely tried to avoid the new age of digital marketing altogether, which made them look as if they were holding on to the past.

So knowing that the tools of the digital marketer were not right for a network marketing organization, but that digital tools were the future for our industry, what was I to do?

The only solution was to build something that used all of these tools, but to repurpose them in a way that would work for MLM.

In an effort to solve my own organization’s problem, we began creating technology that would augment the natural habits, behaviors, and one-to-one relationship connections that make the people and the organizations great.

And blammo (“blammo” for the sake of this story, in reality, it took almost a decade to perfect), Authentic Sharing Technology was born.

A decade later, this Authentic Sharing Technology platform offers companies and leaders an opportunity to take advantage of digital tools that have been specifically designed for the network marketing industry.

With hundreds of thousands of users around the world and a development team of over 30 people, RapidFunnel is building technology that will drive the network marketing industry to new heights.

RapidFunnel is the premier platform for those who know that a great product, a great compensation plan, and great people are not enough to build a great company. The quantity and quality of the exposures and the number of times that your company story gets told will dictate your success.

It takes a good deal more than excellent technology alone to make this happen. I’ve spent the majority of my professional career building in the MLM space, which gives the team at RapidFunnel a very unique perspective on the ins and outs of this industry.

Authentic Sharing Technology, specifically the RapidFunnel App, offers the most seasoned veteran and the brand new networker the same opportunity to systematize recruiting and follow-up, and to track and gamify their activity teamwide.

All the tools a networker could need, all in one place. Affordable, accessible and convenient. We’re bringing simplicity back to network marketing.

We want every person we work with to be able to connect easier and grow their business more successfully, through the power of the RapidFunnel App and our other Authentic Sharing Technology products.
