Our Executive Team

Patrick Shaw
CEO & CO-Founder

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act but a habit.

Patrick is a life-long entrepreneur who has successfully built multiple companies and large sales teams. Energetic and inventive, he has a love of philosophy, particularly stoicism and is passionate about our ability as humans to improve our lives by improving our state of mind.

A self-confessed “freak” about studying habits and routines Patrick’s purpose in life is to always be learning and growing. He loves seeking out new concepts and strategies for improving his own life, finding out what works and sharing it with others.

In fact, RapidFunnel was born out of this exact process. Patrick originally developed the ideas behind the platform to empower a sales team he’d built during one of his enterprises.

Personally speaking… Patrick has had a lifelong interest in good health, shaped by his Mom who owned a chain of health food stores. He enjoys mountain biking, crossfit, yoga and pilates. He loves bouncing ideas off of his wife, skiing with his three kids and watching superhero movies with his son. He also admits to holding on to his collection of superhero comics, which carried him through his childhood struggles with dyslexia.

Charlie Pate
CMO & CO-Founder

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Charlie lives and breathes the creative process, with a philosophy that balances marketing communication with highly effective creative. For over 30 years he’s contributed his considerable marketing and design sense to ad agencies, direct marketing firms, production companies, and a major university; in places as far flung as New Zealand! Focused and imaginative, Charlie excels in creative/art direction and believes that developing the right message is the most important part of the creative process.

An entrepreneur at heart, Charlie created one of Denver’s top boutique agencies, the award-winning Hat Trick Creative, then added to that by starting a direct mail company, before becoming one of the founding members of RapidFunnel.

Personally speaking… Charlie’s not very good at sitting still. He loves travel, the Mediterranean and California (except for the traffic) and is passionate about photography. A golfer with a single digit handicap, he also likes snowboarding, outdoor activities and says yoga helps keep him sane. He enjoys having fun with his wife and daughter, loves dogs and has been known to spontaneously quote from “Raising Arizona”.

Kurt Frank
COO & CO-Founder

The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.

Kurt started his career in advertising when internet marketing was new and clients were curious. Intensely curious himself, Kurt picked up that ball and ran with it, building an internet division for his company that amassed 50% of their business by the time he left. That set the stage for both his technical abilities and keen understanding of how to enhance business, using technology.

After repeating similar results for a video production company, Kurt opened his own web-based software, custom application development shop. After 23 years immersed in every aspect of the industry, from conceptualization to implementation, Kurt now contributes his talents as a founding member of RapidFunnel.

Personally speaking… Kurt moved to Colorado for one reason – snowboarding – but also likes watersports, camping and everything outdoors. Married with two kids, Kurt has the ability to morph into a basketball, baseball or soccer coach on command. He admits to an obsession with fixing things and refuses to call a repairman. His dream is to one day sail around the world in a 48’ sailboat.

Adam Kraft
CXO & CO-Founder

Do unto others as you would have them do to you.

Adam has worked in nearly every area of technology at some point in his career to date. His entrepreneurial spirit has led to extensive experience in diverse areas, including project management, development, customer service, hardware support, home theater, automation, audio/video production and more. Resourceful and enthusiastic, there isn’t much that Adam hasn’t spent some time learning about. He likes to jump in wherever he sees a gap and fill that role until it can be passed on.

An avid reader and life-long learner, Adam is driven by the challenge of the unknown and brings this insatiable curiosity to his role as a founding member of RapidFunnel.

Personally speaking… Adam is married with two young daughters and a son. He enjoys playing video games, but these days he mostly spends his free time playing dress-up, make-believe, building Lego and helping coach sports teams. Adam loves the satisfaction of “building things” whether those are physical things like house projects (and Lego), or digital things like RapidFunnel. He also loves going salsa dancing with his wife, though he freely admits she’s far better than him. He also loves to travel both domestically and internationally with his family, experiencing new sights and cultures.

April Velasco
Director of client success

If you have the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed.

An entrepreneur at heart, April values quality client service and building great business relationships as important keys to success. Her years of experience in the BPO Industry have given her strong insight into Customer Service, Quality Assurance, and Account Operations.

April has organizational superpowers, which she fully invests in the creation and implementation of processes that improve our customers’ experience. Career driven and unafraid of new challenges, April has a soft spot for leading and coaching people.

Personally speaking… April plans to travel abroad someday, but is a homebody at heart. She enjoys spending time with her family and little Shih Tzu dog. She also loves to eat, which goes quite well with her love of cooking/baking. Deep conversations with friends, biking, walking her dog and a great cup of coffee keep April happy and she admits to loving Christmas carols so much that she sings them all year long!

Jodi Gilano
Launch Team director

You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.

Jodi is a zealous content strategist with more than 30 years of experience building brands and boosting sales reps for many iconic international companies. She loves to anticipate and challenge trends in both B2C and B2B marketing and cultivate superior personal brand connections within the social media marketplace.

Her experience as co-founder/CMO of a SAAS company handling product development and market launches; and as co-founder of a social media recruiting service for networking entrepreneurs; gives her valuable insight and ability into helping our clients successfully create and launch their App.

Personally speaking… You can sum up Jodi’s friendly, collaborative nature with the advice she gives her teenage twins when they’re hitting a sports field, “Go play hard… AND really, really, really have fun with your teammates”. Jodi finds her own fun through group cross-fit training. And though she loves chocolate and the color orange, she really hates orange chocolate.

Jonathan Ginter
CTO

Those who say it can't be done are usually interrupted by others doing it.

Jonathan is a 30-year veteran of IT with a background in development, software architecture, product management and entrepreneurship. As a digital nomad and Taoist, he holds two passports and an e-citizenship and has lived or worked in 5 countries across 3 continents. In his spare time, Jonathan is a registered Canadian book publisher as well as a songwriter and poet.
Personally speaking… Jonathan has the ability to explain reality in up to 9 dimensions, then discuss Taoism in that context so that anyone can understand. He also loves karaoke and performing musical theater. Could a 9 dimensional musical theater production be far behind?
