There are two kinds of Broadcast messages.

The first one is the Email Broadcast, which allows you to send broadcast messages to the account email addresses of the App users and Contacts.

The second one is the Push Notification, which is sent to the App user’s mobile device.

The Broadcast Feature is found under Menu, on your Dashboard in the Back Office; accessed via a web browser.

How to Write and Send an Email Broadcast

  1. From the Broadcast page, choose the audience for your Broadcast Message from the following choices: Users, Contacts, or Winners.
  2. After choosing your audience, check the slide button at the very top; it must show as “Broadcast Email” in order to send your message as one.
  3. You have the option to select any filters that apply to your message, or simply send it to all.
  4. Click on Create Broadcast, found at the lower part of the pop-up, which directs you to the page where you can write your broadcast email.
  5. Things to take note of when writing a Broadcast Email:
    • The message can be personalized by using the correct Content Placeholder from the dropdown reference list on the page.
    • You can add App Resources in your message by choosing the correct link. Find it under the Available Resources dropdown, by either typing the resource ID number or searching for the resource name.
  6. In the Send Email From section, add the email address you’d like the broadcast email to come from. You can also leave it blank and the system will use the email saved in your account.

How to Write and Send a Push Notification

  5. You’ll be taken to a new page where you can write the message you’d like to send.
  6. Content Placeholders help personalize your message. Choose the correct Content Placeholder from the dropdown reference list on the same page.
  7. When you’re done, hit send and everyone will receive it as soon as possible.

Things to note:

  1. You can write your broadcast emails and push notifications beforehand and save them as draft. This way, you can simply log in and send when it is time.
  2. View Broadcast Details; from this page, you can see the following:
    • Statistics; show how many messages were sent, how many were opened, how many people clicked on the link (if the message included one) and which ones bounced.
    • Recipients; where you can view a list of emails that failed to receive the broadcast message and a list of those emails that successfully received the broadcast, along with the names belonging to each account.
